IH2EF is the national institute for training and professional development of education leaders in France. It supports managerial staff across secondary and higher education, working in close connection with the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Higher Education.
At the crossroads of public policy, research and professional practice, the institute designs and delivers high-level training programmes tailored to the evolving challenges of education.
Through its expertise and networks, IH2EF contributes to strengthening leadership, fostering innovation and supporting the transformation of the education system.

 

Our Institute

  • Supports professionals working in public education
    It provides training for school leaders, inspectors, administrative staff, and other key roles in secondary schools. The institute also works with higher education managers, such as HR directors, financial directors, legal advisors, and leaders of university services (including INSPE and CROUS).
  • Supports public education
    IH2EF helps improve the quality and skills of education professionals. It works closely with national and regional authorities, as well as professional organisations, to understand needs and design relevant training programmes.
  • Provides a modern and digital learning approach
    IH2EF uses interactive and practical teaching methods. Our training programmes combine in-person sessions, online learning, workshops, conferences, and evaluations. Digital tools are at the heart of this approach, allowing flexible learning while maintaining personalised support for each participant.
  • Reflects on education and connects with society
    The institute offers an annual programme for professionals from public administration, associations, and private companies. Participants explore key education topics, exchange ideas, and develop recommendations to improve the system.
  • Develops an international perspective
    IH2EF works with European and international partners to share knowledge and best practices. The institute also hosts foreign delegations and supports international cooperation projects, helping promote and develop education systems worldwide.
